
Jelenovac Residence is located in Zagreb, Croatia. Designed by DVA arhitekta. The site is surrounded by family house and Jelenovac city park in the front. Positioned in a way that allows the formation of a small park that serves as a tampon zone between traffic and a large garden. The geometry of this site is divided into two parts. Middle of the volume contains a spiral staircase cladded in wood, smooth white facade contrasts with the dark opening to create dynamics and elegance of the facade, glass fences allow uninterrupted views of the beautiful scenery. This one-of-a-kind home in Malibu, USA, not only comes with a great theme, but also with extensive views of the Pacific Ocean, Boney Mountains and Los Angeles. Inspired by one of the most famous cartoons of all time “Flintstones”, featuring an impressive organic wall, defined by irregular shapes, furniture blending seamlessly with the cave-like interior and glass windows with stunning views. Flintstones inspired the whole of the project is that a house is comfortable and original. Stony houses that can compete with modern minimalist shelter. Antonio Lupi has designed a gas log fireplace, named Skemabox. Skemabox equipped with a brazier and log roll-away compartment, this fireplace into a modular system is concerned with the function. Combustion chamber compartment hidden behind the log roll-away, this allows for a nice fire but with a slow consumption of wood and make choices that are environmentally friendly fireplace.
